Introduction to the National Long-Term Care Survey

The NLTCS Website is now undergoing extensive revision that will take place in several stages over the next few months.  During that time, much of the existing documentation will be rewritten or revised and significant content will be added.  Changes that have been implemented to date include:

• giving the NLTCS its own URL;
• changing the 'look and feel' of the Website through style sheet changes and changes in the overall design and logo;
• revising the navigation of the Website to correspond more closely to user needs;
• adding a Codebook for NLTCS 1999 Final Version 1.0; and
• adding a completely new section to the Website (this Introduction to the NLTCS) which will give the user summarized overview information on the survey that is provided in more detailed form in other sections (e.g., 'Data' or 'Documentation').
